Terms & Conditions
These Terms govern your use of CTN Certificate and the cargo tracking certificate services we provide. CTN Certificate is based at IFZA Business Park, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (company details above); “we” and “our” refer to CTN Certificate. By using the site or requesting a certificate you accept these Terms.
Our service
CTN Certificate is an independent compliance agent that prepares, validates and helps issue Electronic Cargo Tracking Notes and equivalent certificates (ECTN, BESC, BSC, CTN, ARCCLA, FERI, BIETC, SPN, CEE, FESO/ECTN, ACD and ACID) required by destination customs authorities. We are not a government body and are not exclusively affiliated with any single customs department; we process declarations through the relevant official cargo-tracking systems.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipment documents and details. Certificates are issued on the basis of the information you supply. Inaccurate or incomplete information may lead to rejection, delays, penalties or the need to re-file, for which you are responsible.
Fees
The cost of a certificate comprises the destination government fee (which varies by country and shipment) plus our fixed service fee. The exact total is confirmed on your draft invoice before validation. Government fees are set by the destination authority and are outside our control.
Validation & amendments
A certificate is issued only after you approve the draft and settle the invoice. Once validated, a certificate is registered with the destination authority and generally cannot be modified or cancelled; amendments, where permitted, may incur additional fees.
Disclaimers
Cargo compliance regulations change frequently and vary by country. Information on this site is provided for general guidance and does not constitute legal advice. We do not guarantee outcomes that depend on third parties such as customs authorities, carriers or ports.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CTN Certificate is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim relating to a certificate is limited to the service fee paid for that certificate.
Governing terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time; the current version is always available on this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to our compliance desk via the Contact page.
Refund policy
This section explains when a payment for a certificate can and cannot be refunded.
Before validation
If you cancel your request before the certificate has been validated with the destination authority, you are entitled to a refund of amounts paid, less any government or third-party fees already incurred on your behalf.
After validation
Once a certificate is validated it is registered with the destination customs authority and cannot be un-validated. For this reason, payments for validated certificates are generally non-refundable.
Errors on our side
If a certificate contains an error caused by us, we correct and re-issue it at no additional cost. This does not apply to errors resulting from inaccurate information supplied by the client.
Duplicate or failed payments
Accidental duplicate charges or payments for a service that was never started are refunded in full once verified.
How to request a refund
Send your request, with the reference number and reason, to our compliance desk through the Contact page. We review every request promptly and in good faith.
